Description

Thread vein removal The process of scleropathy basically involves injecting a chemical or foam solution into the affected veins to scar and seal them, by causing the walls of the vein to stick together. Ultrasound is used to pin-point the location for each injection, allowing direct and extremely precise treatment of the damaged parts of the vein. Eventually the treated vein(s) will die and be harmlessly reabsorbed into the body. The blood flow is naturally redirected via healthy veins, thus overcoming the various circulatory issues. Scleropathy is far less invasive than full surgery and can be done using a local anaesthetic. Owing to the precise nature of the procedure, a patient can usually go straight home following scleropathy treatment, with minimal pain and discomfort. However, there are some measures which should be taken to ensure its successful outcome and prevent the recurrence of the problem.
